Marketing infrastructure, mostly. Systems that generate, schedule, publish, spend and report without anyone watching them. The interesting problems are never the happy path — they are what happens when the scheduler fires three hours late, or an API returns a number that is quietly wrong.

The part I am actually proud of is the duplicate prevention: three separate incidents, three different root causes, so now there are four independent guards and no single one of them is trusted.

I run paid media against real budgets — a Python toolkit written straight against the Meta Marketing API, no SDK, that builds campaigns and reports on them. Everything it creates is created paused. Nothing spends without a human saying so, and that constraint is deliberate rather than cautious.

Autonomous publishing4 accounts
Content generated, rendered to image, deduplicated against a permanent ledger and published on a schedule. Four independent duplicate guards, built one per incident, because three separate incidents had three different root causes.
Meta Marketing API toolkitno SDK
Campaigns, ad sets, audiences and creatives from config, against the raw API. Pre-resolved interest IDs, because Meta's own search endpoint will return a deprecated ID the API then rejects. Everything is created paused.
Personal operations dashboardNext.js + Apps Script
Offline capture that queues writes and replays them on reconnect, an installable PWA, and live workflow monitoring. Took it from 22 seconds to 0.2 by batching 23 sheet reads into one.

One screen answering whether everything is still running — every scheduled job, every account, live ad spend, and how many days of content each engine has left. Pausing is one click; starting requires typing the engine's name.

Written up properly

  • Three duplicate posts, three different causesAn Instagram account that posts without a human posted the same thing twice, three separate times. Each incident had a completely different root cause, and each obvious fix would have been useless against the other two.
  • Twenty-two seconds to two tenthsA dashboard took between eleven and twenty-two seconds to load. Every intuition about why was wrong, and the fix was the opposite of the instinct.
  • An API with no endpoint for the answerRunning ads into Singapore needs a verified-advertiser identity that Meta will not tell you, and rejects three different ways when you get it wrong.
